South Lancashire officers and staff commended at Commander’s Awards

57 people have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to Lancashire Constabulary’s South Division at the Divisional Commander’s Commendations Ceremony.  

Police officers, police staff and detectives from across the division, which covers Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire, were among those honoured at the event, which was held on Tuesday 21st January, at Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters in Hutton.  

With nine categories in total, the awards look to highlight shining examples of best practice, bravery, and teamwork across all levels and areas of the force. 

Chief Superintendent and Divisional Commander, Stasia Osiowy said: “This event shines the spotlight on the fantastic work being done by my teams across the division every single day, and I am extremely proud of them all. 

“Dozens of inspiring officers and staff were nominated in categories including outstanding contribution to community policing, investigative quality on cases and bravery and I want to congratulate all of those who have been recognised. 

Their personal commitment and dedication to keeping communities safe across South Lancashire is a credit to the Constabulary.”
