Woman dies after house fire

A woman has died following a house fire in Blackpool.
We were called to Hill Street in the resort at 12.49am today (July 6th) to reports of a fire in the top floor of a property.

UPDATE: Man charged following robbery in Darwen | June 28, 2022
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Alec Harris, 27, of Astbury Chase, Darwen, was charged with robbery and two further attempted robberies.

We were called to Market Street Lane at 4.19pm on April 24 to reports of a fight outside the Dunn Horse pub and that a man had been knocked unconscious. The victim – a man in his 30s - was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.
