Two arrested after warrants in Blackpool and Fylde

Two people have been arrested after drugs warrants were executed in the Blackpool and Fylde areas.

Yesterday (24th January 2023) officers executed a misuse of drugs warrant in the Blackpool area, in which a quantity of drugs were seized.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

Today (25th January 2023), officers from Fylde Task Force conducted a misuse of drugs warrant in the St Annes area in which a quantity of drugs, cash and equipment were seized.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).

Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire and delivering on Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden's Fighting Crime Plan priority of disrupting and dismantling organised crime.

Operation Warrior targets the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.

This week is National Neighbourhood Policing Week. Throughout the week, police forces across the UK will highlight the vital work that neighbourhood officers, PCSOs and volunteers do to protect the public and keep people safe.
