We were called at around 4pm to reports somebody had approached an address on Heysham Road, Morecambe, before shooting at the front door and then fleeing the scene.
Thankfully nobody was injured as a result of the incident.

At 4.23pm on April 21 Craig Mellor entered the Spar Shop in Leeds Roads, Nelson, wearing a balaclava and brandishing a large knife. We recovered CCTV footage which showed 42-year-old Mellor threaten a male member of staff with the knife to get a quantity of cash from the till.
