Man arrested in Preston firearm discharge investigation

A man has been arrested following a firearm discharge in Preston last month.

The 28-year-old from Preston was detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent at an address in Preston. He is custody at this time.

The incident happened at around 3.30pm on Sunday, August 30th. A firearm, believed to be a shotgun, was discharged twice but thankfully no-one was injured.

Four men, wearing balaclavas, were later seen making off from the scene in a silver Land Rover in the direction of Garstang Road.
