Man charged after Burnley stabbing

A man has been charged by detectives investigating a stabbing in Burnley.

Police were called around 6pm on Sunday (October 4) to reports of a disturbance outside the Green Street Sports and Social Club in Burnley.

We attended and found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

A 41-year-old man was arrested a short time later.

Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Dale Fallows, 41, of Bracewell Street, Burnley, has been charged with attempted murder, breach of a restraining order, assault and two offences of possessing a bladed article.

He is due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, October 6).
