A man has sadly died today (Friday, May 8) following a collision in Preston.
Police were called at about 7.10pm on Wednesday (May 6) after a man riding a Kawasaki motorbike between Bowland Road and the junction of Grizedale Crescent failed to negotiate a bend and collided with the wall of a house.
The rider, Stephen Sergeant, 33, from Preston, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital but sadly died earlier today.
Sgt Phil Barber, of Lancashire Constabulary’s Tac Ops, said: “These are very sad and tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with Mr Sergeant and his family at this difficult time.
"We are continuing to appeal for information following the collision and would urge anyone with information to come forward.
"If you saw what happened, or the manner in which the motorcycle was ridden prior to the incident, please contact us."
