A man has been charged in connection with a murder investigation in Oswaldtwistle.
Police were called on 13 February after a 65 year old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries from an address in Worsley Court.
The man, Stuart Newton, sadly died in hospital on Friday (14 February).
A post mortem examination has given a cause of death of blunt head trauma.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with Mr Newton’s death and has now been charged with murder.
Nathan Scott Williams, 30, of Mount Pleasant Rd, Oswaldtwistle appeared before Blackburn Magistrates' Court this morning (17 February). He has been remanded in custody and is due at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday (19 February).
