The family of a man who died in a collision in Burnley on Sunday have paid tribute to him.
The incident occurred at around 1.30pm on New Road when a Toyota Yaris collided with a Triumph motorcycle.
Paramedics attended but sadly the rider of the motorcycle, who has since been named as Chris Raw, 62, from Huddersfield, died at the scene.
The driver of the Yaris - a man in his 70s - and the passenger in the Yaris - a woman aged in her 60s – suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed for around six hours while specialist collision investigators attended.
Sgt Mick Belfield, of the Lancashire Police TacOps Unit, said: “Our thoughts continue to be with Chris’ family at this incredibly difficult time.
“We continue to appeal for witnesses and ask that anyone who saw the collision gets in touch with us as soon as possible.”
