Concern growing for missing Susan

Wednesday, March 13, 2019

We are continuing to appeal for information about a missing woman from Darwen who we believe may have travelled to Scotland.

Susan Waring, 45, was last seen on January 30th 2019 at around 10pm, leaving an address on Blackburn Road, Darwen.

She has not been seen or heard from since then, though there have been reported sightings of her in the Dumbarton area of Scotland.

She is described as being around 5ft 5ins tall, of small build, with brown eyes and collar-length, curly, brown hair. She speaks with a North West accent and has tattoos on both arms and legs, including smiley faces on her legs.

DI Lukmaan Mulla, of Lancashire Police, said: “We have been conducting enquiries into Susan’s whereabouts for several weeks now and are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“It is possible she has travelled to the Dumbarton area, but may still be in East Lancashire. We would urge people in both areas to study her pictures carefully, and to get in touch if they see her or have information as to her whereabouts.”

Anybody with information is asked to contact us on 101, quoting log number LC-20190205-0702.
