We are appealing for information following a collision in Preston this morning.
We were called at 08:17 hours on 13 June to reports of a collision involving a Renault Megane and a pedestrian on Deepdale Road.
It happened at the junction of St Thomas Road.
The pedestrian, a 45 year old woman from Preston suffered serious injuries to her leg and head. She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 37 year old man from Preston, was not injured.
Sergeant Craig Booth of Lancashire’s Tactical Operations Unit, said: “A woman is seriously injured and our thoughts are with her at this time. We are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and ask that anyone with information or any dash cam footage which may be relevant gets in touch.”
