Appeal: man found with head injuries in Burnley

We are appealing for information after a man was found with head injuries in Burnley.

We were called at 9:45am today (Friday 20 December) to reports a man in his 30s has been found unresponsive at the corner of Grange Street and Queensberry Road.

He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Detectives are trying to establish how the man came to be injured.

DI Nicola Bithell of Burnley CID, said: “The man is very poorly in hospital and we need to understand how he sustained his injuries.

“The man has been found at a busy time of day and we know there were a number of people in the area. We need anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible. If you live nearby and have any CCTV covering either of these streets, please get in touch.”
