CCTV appeal: Darwen burglary

Tuesday, October 2, 2018

Do you recognise this man?

We want to identify and speak to him as part of our investigation into a burglary in Darwen.

At some point between 10pm on 25th September and 3:30am on 26th September, a man entered an address on Newton Street while the occupants were asleep.

He made a search of the property and left with a number of items including a laptop, satchel bag, wallet and iPad.

Our enquiries have also led us to believe that the victim’s bank card was fraudulently used shortly after at the petrol station on Bolton Road.

PC Mark Slater of Blackburn Police, said: “We’re keen to speak to the pictured man as part of our investigation and would ask anyone with information to speak to us."

Anyone with information is asked to email 8176@lancashire.pnn.police.uk, or call 101 quoting log number 235 of 26th September. Alternatively independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111.
