UPDATE: Appeal after pedestrian injured in Darwen

A woman has been reported for driving without due care following a collision in Darwen.

At around 15:10 hours on 26th March a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle outside the Shell petrol station on the A666, Blackburn Road.

The man, in his 60s, suffered serious injuries to his leg and back and was taken to Royal Blackburn hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Following a press appeal for information, a 38-year-old woman has been reported for driving without due care.
