Witness appeal after Adlington collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Adlington.

We were called at 21:25 hours on Sunday 1st April to reports a Ford Focus had collided with an unattended parked vehicle on Market Street.

The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 70s, suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Royal Preston hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

PC Amanda Bond of Lancashire’s Road Policing Unit, said: “We’re looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have seen the vehicle in the minutes leading up to it.”
