Missing girl, 14, believed to be in Preston

Friday, August 11, 2017

We are growing concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager who is believed to be in Preston.

Olivia Duxbury (pictured), 14, was last seen on August 9th at around 5pm in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent, but is believed to have made her way to Preston.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Olivia is only 14 and hasn’t been seen or heard from for a couple of days now, and we are becoming extremely worried about her.

“We believe she has made her way to Lancashire, specifically to the Preston area, and we are asking anybody who has seen her or knows where she may be to contact us as soon as possible.

“Similarly, we would urge Olivia herself, if she sees this appeal, to get in touch to let us know she is safe.”

She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with very long, fair hair which has been dyed red. She was last seen wearing a crop top, black jeans, a black leather jacket and black trainers.

Anyone with information can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log number 1613 of August 9th.

Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
