Catherine Allsager, 39, was last seen yesterday evening (August 25th) at about 5.45pm in Folkestone, Kent but it is believed she may have travelled back to Lancashire, possibly by train.

The 88 year old woman was asleep in bed at her home on Aspen Gardens, Chorley when she was woken up at around half past midnight this morning (Saturday, August 26th) to find a man assaulting her and demanding money.
Appeal for help after death of man in Blackpool

Police were called at shortly before 2am today (Saturday, August 25th) by the ambulance service who had earlier attended a bench off Gyn Square in the resort. A man had fallen from the bench after becoming unwell. He was taken by ambulance to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but sadly later died.
Man arrested following aggravated burglary in Chorley

The 35 year old man, from Chorley, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is currently in custody.
