If so, you may very well have the skills needed to become a Detective Constable at Lancashire Constabulary.
The Detective Entry programme is your chance to be part of a professional and dedicated team carrying out crime investigations in a variety of areas. These investigations will include serious and complex cases. You will be at the forefront of policing innovation as we train, support and encourage you in your role as a Detective.
Initially joining as a student police officer, you will complete a structured development programme which will enable you to progress to the role of Detective Constable.
As a Detective Constable your duties will encompass a range of investigative activities such as statement taking, securing and reviewing CCTV, log keeping, prisoner interviewing, intelligence interviews and file building. You will have full responsibility of your case and will attend court and give evidence.
