I have received a postal requisition/court summons. Do I have to attend court?

There is no requirement for you to attend court if you do not wish to do so.

However if you choose not to attend court it is important that you complete all the documents in your postal requisition (plea form and financial means) and return this to the court before the court hearing.

The issue of the postal requisition means that the case must be finalised by the court and any previous course/conditional offer has expired and cannot be reoffered.
